Tammy Godfrey, Owner & Trainer
PawTenders is a small boutique Dog Boarding, Day Care, Grooming and Training facility in the Lakewood/East Dallas/Uptown area of Dallas.
We are an obedience-driven facility, small and hands-on, which allows us to focus on personal time and attention with our clients pets and their individual needs. When you have long hours at work, business trips or family vacations; we have just the place for your furry family member to relax and get the exercise they need.

of services to address most client needs. Ready to integrate
the newest member into your household or address behavioral issues with one of your present four-pawed family members? PawTenders is committed to give you the information and training to help you navigate all the roadblocks you may encounter.
Part of the mission of PawTenders is to enhance the education
of my clients to help them better understand and live with their own four-pawed friends. With this in mind, hopefully we can educate people in order to keep the shelter populations down.
I hope to continue my education and volunteer work in pursuit
of helping as many of those less fortunate animals that may need our human hands to rely upon for their future needs.
As we all know, when we travel or are away from home for lengthy periods of time, we want to keep our four-pawed family members safe and stress free. We offer all aspects of pet care to give our clients the best and most comprehensive care.
I am always available to my clients at any time, should you need to reach me. I will always do my best to take your calls and answer any emails you may send as quickly as possible.
I sincerely hope to give the best in customer service possible, as I believe my clients are the best around and I am incredibly grateful to have them!

PawTenders a small boutique facility, formerly located on NW Hwy offering Grooming and Training, now located at 1903 Skillman is now solely focused on Grooming and Training, still serving the Lakewood, East Dallas, Lake Highlands areas as well as Highland Park, University Park and Uptown since 2009. ​

Our Grooming Salon is fully equipped to pawsitively pamper your pooch with our natural ingredient based shampoos and conditioners and blueberry facials. If your pet suffers from dry skin, or allergies, our medicated baths will help soothe and comfort your furry friend. We carefully choose our products based on ingredients to nurture and care for your pups skin and coat.

Reservations are required for all grooming appointments and training sessions.

A copy of updated shot records from your veterinarian is required, including Rabies, DHLP, PARVO, fecal and Bordetella (kennel cough) and Leptospirosis. The vaccination is not 100% effective in preventing kennel cough. These vaccinations are not 100% effective in preventing kennel cough, associated with day care or boarding.

All dogs must be in good health and must not have been exposed to any contagious or communicable illnesses within a 30 day period prior to check in. PawTenders will not allow admission of any dogs that have a terminal illness or are in the late stages of that illness.

I agree to inform PawTenders, LLC of all risks or existing problems associated with my pet that I am aware of, including any recent surgeries or health problem

I understand that there is a risk of disease transmission, or an injury that could result in harm or death, when allowing my pet to interact w/ other animals. I understand PawTenders, LLC will do everything possible to keep disease from spreading or accidents from occurring, however it may happen, and I will not hold PawTenders, LLC responsible for these occurrences.

I understand that I am fully solely responsible for all harm and damages caused by or to my pet while at PawTenders, LLC.

I will indemnify& hold harmless PawTenders, LLC against any & all claims or costs, including attorney’ s fees, made against them based on injury or damages caused by or to my dog while in their care, and or others that accompany me onto the premises, provided reasonable care & precautions are taken by all.

I understand & agree that any problems that develop with my pet will be treated immediately as the staff at PawTenders, LLC deems best, and I assume full responsibility for any and all expenses. I understand that if my pet becomes ill or injured, PawTenders, LLC, will transport my animal to Hillside Veterinary Clinic or Vickery Place Animal Hospital, unless otherwise instructed.
